Fiona, and why this shop exists

Fiona and her husband opened Froyo Heaven because Phillip Island needed a proper dessert stop, and they wanted to be the ones to run it well. They had the second location in Leongatha already and knew that doing things personally, not delegating the smile at the counter, makes the real difference.

Guests notice it. Fiona has been thanked by name in reviews for going out of her way: organising forgotten bags to be posted back to Melbourne at her own expense, surprising a four-year-old with a pink smoothie after overhearing what she wanted. That is not policy. That is just who runs this shop.

The Cowes store opened to a community that had been waiting for it. The locals came on opening day. The holiday guests came back every day of their stay. The $10 Thursday deal started as a way to give back to the neighbourhood and became the week's most popular night.
